Instagram renamed its “AI creator” label to AI-generated profile on Aug 31. Skip the label on an AI-person account and recommendation reach drops. Labeled accounts are not docked for being generated. Photo edits and captions do not need the label. The Times found hundreds of AI doctors and wellness accounts pushing supplements. If you run a persona account, Explore now depends on whether you said so. The face on the grid still cannot sit for a passport.
