👋 Good morning.
Your AI credits just got cheaper inside Notion. Its new Auto mode picks a model for each task, and Notion says that across 20+ common tasks it matched Opus 5.5 and Astra at about 90% lower cost, so credits go about 10× further.
Monday’s poll: 100% of voters let AI write the deck’s first draft. A unanimous room, which never happens.
IN 3 MINUTES, GET 1% BETTER THAN EVERYONE YOU KNOW:
Notion’s Auto mode stretches your AI credits about 10×.
A breach at OpenCode ran up charges on stolen AI keys.
Gemini Notebook lets you fix the outline before it renders.
Clean up your TV, then rehearse the hard questions.
A browser that does the work inside your logged-in sites.

Notion rebuilt Notion AI on Oct 19. Auto routes each task to the model that fits it, and Notion says it matched Opus 5.5 and Astra at about 90% lower cost across 20+ common tasks. Agents got their own computer, one task can run past 24 hours instead of five minutes, and “Review for me” has a separate model check each action before the agent acts. Business and Enterprise seats get 1,500 Standard and 500 Select credits a month.
Do this: Switch your Notion Agent to Auto, and connect your ChatGPT Plus or Pro plan so personal chats stop eating credits.
Your AI bill just exhaled.
Do you know what your AI tools cost you last month?
OpenCode, an open-source AI coding agent, said on Oct 17 that attackers broke into an older system behind OpenCode Console and exposed API keys (the passwords apps use to reach OpenAI, Anthropic and Google) stored by 1.4% of Console users, per TechCrunch. Some users saw charges in the hundreds of dollars, a few above $1,000. Anthropic and Google blocked the exposed keys, and OpenAI is refunding credits. The app and command-line tool weren’t touched, because those keys never reach OpenCode.
Do this: Put a monthly spend cap and alert on every AI API key you own, and rotate any key you’ve pasted into a third-party dashboard.
A password you never typed is still a password.
Google added co-creation for Slide Decks and Video Overviews in Gemini Notebook on Oct 19. Notebook suggests topics from your sources, you steer the content, style and format, and a Review toggle opens “Review outline notes” for slides or “Review producer notes” for video. Ask for an executive summary up front or a different scene order, then hit Proceed. Google says it reaches everyone over the coming week, but its Help Center still lists co-created decks as Google AI Ultra only.
Do this: Next time you turn a pile of docs into a deck, flip Review on and fix the outline before Notebook renders the wrong one.
Measure twice, render once.
2 Things you didn't know you can do with AI
1. 📺 Let Claude Code strip the ads off your smart TV · CleanYourTV · free, open source · Android TV, Google TV
CleanYourTV hands Claude Code, or any coding agent with shell access, one prompt that switches off the ads on an Android or Google TV over Wi-Fi and installs a clean, Apple TV-style launcher. Nothing is rooted or deleted, one line restores it, and 66 TVs from 25 brands are tested. The catch: you must turn on USB debugging in the TV’s developer options first.
2. 🎤 Get grilled on your deck before the meeting does it · Copilot in PowerPoint · Prepare for questions
Copilot in PowerPoint has a skill called Prepare for questions: it reads your slides, flags the weak spots, and lists the questions your audience is likely to ask, ranked high or medium, with an answer for each. Open Copilot, click +, and pick it from the skills list. The catch: you need Copilot in PowerPoint on a Microsoft 365 plan, and it only knows what the slides say.

🧭 Aside · free plan, Pro $20/mo · Mac, Windows · bring your own ChatGPT or Claude
Aside, a Y Combinator-backed browser, runs the agent inside the sites you’re already signed into, so it can work your inbox, dashboards and internal tools without an integration for each. Your browsing history becomes memory that stays on your device, its vault signs the agent in without showing the AI your passwords, and payments, posts and messages wait for your OK. The catch: the free plan is 500 credits and 3 routines a month, and it hasn’t said how far 500 credits go.
An agent that doesn’t quit at the login screen.
