Meta widened Muse at Connect on Wednesday, per TechCrunch. It can now work any app on your Mac and, in Meta's words, keep going after you walk away from the desk. It also shops: Walmart, Best Buy, Gap, Sephora and Wayfair, paying through Shop Pay, PayPal or Stripe. Connectors now include Notion, GitHub and Granola, after 1,500-plus developers applied to build more in the first week. Muse gets its own email address soon, so you can cc it on a thread.

Claude Code cloud sessions left preview on Wednesday, so Claude keeps working on Anthropic's machines after you shut the laptop. Google's new text-to-speech models let you write a voice into existence. Describe it in plain words, or clone one from a 30-second sample with consent, then direct the delivery line by line: pace, accent, where to push. Over 100 languages, and it holds up across hours of audio. Flash TTS tops Hume's voice design benchmark at 71.4. It's in AI Studio and the Gemini API now, with the lighter version inside Google Vids.
Do this: Write one paragraph describing your brand's voice, generate it in AI Studio, and keep the prompt. That's your narrator from now on.

Anyone with a Google account can now generate 1080p AI video free at vids.new. Extend a scene and the lighting and characters stay put, set exact clip lengths, or upscale older AI clips. The catch: every clip carries an invisible SynthID watermark, and heavier use still wants a paid plan.

A clipboard that thinks. Instead of dumping whatever you copied, it reshapes the text to fit where you're pasting it. Your clipboard history stays on your machine, and images never leave it. The catch: version 0.1, macOS 14 and Apple silicon only, with Windows and Linux listed as coming soon.

Ramp economist Ara Kharazian published a table of who actually pays for each spending category, splitting the top 10% of firms from the other 90%. AI is the most lopsided thing Ramp tracks. Model serving and inference: 99.5% of the spend sits in the top decile. Neocloud: 99%. OpenAI and Anthropic together: 95.6%. Even ordinary cloud and paid ads clear 90%. Everyone is talking about adoption. Almost nobody outside the top tenth is paying real money.
The catch: this is Ramp's corporate-card customers, not the whole economy. Read it as a warning about who your AI product's real buyer is, not proof the middle market is out.
The middle is quieter than the keynotes.
