Figma launched Specs on Oct 15: a Markdown spec that lives on the Figma canvas. Drag any .md file in to turn it into a spec, then embed frames, FigJam files or any canvas node so the words and the designs sit side by side. Figma's agent can reply to comments inside a spec, and you can paste the spec's link into a coding agent like Codex. It's rolling out in open beta on paid plans, on web, desktop and mobile.
Do this: Drag your current PRD onto the canvas, refine it in comments, then give your coding agent the spec link instead of a pasted copy.
The PRD finally gets a seat at the design review.
Where do the specs for your coding agent live today?
Before you give an agent more access, you should be able to see what it does with the access it has. On Oct 14, Anthropic put OpenTelemetry traces on the Claude Platform into public beta.
In plain English: your agent can now send a step-by-step log of everything it did to a monitoring tool. That covers each model call, each tool it used (including calls to MCP servers), how long each step took, and how many tokens it used .
It works with Grafana Cloud, Sentry, Datadog, Langfuse, LangSmith, or any tool that accepts OTLP, the open format most monitoring tools read.
Ramp used traces to find recurring agent failures and, on some agents, cut token use 10 to 20% and made sessions about 30% faster.
Do this: If you already use Grafana or Sentry, point Managed Agents at that account so agent steps show up next to the rest of your app’s traces.
Your agent now leaves receipts.
Black Forest Labs released FLUX 3 Image Klein on Oct 15, a 5.6B-parameter open-weights model for text-to-image, image editing and generation from up to 10 reference images, with native 4K output. Its INT8 build runs on NVIDIA GeForce RTX cards with as little as 8GB of VRAM, through ComfyUI or Diffusers. Commercial use is free for individuals and companies under $5M in annual revenue, and the API starts at $0.009 per 1K-resolution image.
Do this: If you make product shots or ad variations on a gaming PC, run it locally in ComfyUI before paying per image elsewhere.

Anatomy is a skill that explains a machine by drawing it: describe one and your agent builds an interactive isometric figure whose parts move and come apart under your pointer. It runs in Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity and OpenCode. The catch: it needs Node 20.10 or later, and the drawing is only as accurate as your description, so check every part.

taste-skill is a set of free agent skills that push your coding agent past the average landing page: it gets an art direction and real photos, then checks its own page in a browser at three screen widths. Run it on your next UI. The catch: the default skill needs Node 22 or later plus Chrome, Edge or Chromium installed.

OpenAI's Europe report (Oct 14) says weekly active users of Codex and ChatGPT Work at EU small and medium businesses, meaning 200 or fewer users, grew more than eightfold since May, in every member state. Among its Enterprise accounts, agentic tools now produce more than half of output tokens, from 22% in Slovenia to 85% in Lithuania. It's OpenAI's own customer data, not the whole market.
