I WISH I KNEW SOONER
👋 Good morning.
Yesterday 40% of you said your long prompts already live in saved instructions or skills. Everyone else now knows where theirs should go.
Year-end giving season is close. Anthropic just gave verified nonprofits on Claude Team and Enterprise 14 skills at no extra cost. They research funders, draft proposals and write the thank-you notes. Proposal night just got shorter.
IN 3 MINUTES, GET 1% BETTER THAN EVERYONE YOU KNOW:
Let Claude draft grant proposals for your nonprofit.
Stretch your ChatGPT plan further on screen work.
Use Siri AI in five more languages.
Audit your site for ChatGPT, then explode a product.
Keep your automations running when your laptop closes.
3 Did you see
Anthropic released the Claude for Nonprofits plugin on Oct 26, built with about 30 nonprofits. It installs automatically, at no additional cost, for nonprofits on Team and Enterprise. Per Anthropic’s nonprofit page, its 14 skills include a map of where your records live, funder and grant research, proposal writing and grant reporting. Nonprofit Team seats are $8 per user per month, with a two-seat minimum.
Run or volunteer for a nonprofit? Forward your next RFP to Claude for an eligibility and requirements breakdown. Everyone else can borrow the 14-skill list as a map of what a small team can hand to AI.
The grant writer who never asks for overhead.
How many of your AI automations keep running when your laptop is closed?
OpenAI released GPT-6.1 Terra, a fast model built for screen and computer work. It’s in ChatGPT Work and Codex on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu, but not regular Chat, per OpenAI’s release notes. OpenAI says the same usage allowance covers substantially more tasks than with GPT-6.1 Sol or GPT-6 Astra. In its testing, Terra’s error rate at low effort fell from 53.6% to 16.7% versus GPT-5.6 Terra.
Pick Terra from the model list under Advanced in Work for repetitive screen jobs, like filling out forms or entering invoices into your accounting software, and save Sol or Astra for the hardest work.
Same plan, more errands.
With iOS 27.2 out Oct 26, Siri AI now also works in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. It’s the rebuilt Siri that uses your personal context, takes actions inside apps, like drafting an email, and understands what’s on your screen. It’s still in beta, needs an Apple Intelligence device and has daily usage limits. It isn’t available in the EU on iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch.
If you or your team use an iPhone in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese or Spanish, update to 27.2 and hand Siri the next email you’d normally type out.
Siri just learned to say “on it” in five more languages.
2 things you didn't know you can do with AI
1. 🔍 Find out why Google and ChatGPT skip your site · claude-seo · free, open source · Claude Code
claude-seo audits a website in 10 to 15 minutes, with up to 17 agents checking crawlability, speed and structured data. They also score how likely ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews are to cite your pages, then rank the fixes. The catch: it runs in Claude Code, so it suits whoever already looks after your site.
2. 🔩 Turn any object into an exploded-view illustration · /teardown · free skill · coding agents
Jakub Krehel’s new /teardown skill draws an exploded-view illustration of a product from a photo, a description or a CAD file. A preview page lets you recolor parts, toggle labels and download it as SVG, PNG or PDF. Use it for product pages, decks and manuals instead of briefing an illustrator. The catch: nothing is toleranced, so it explains a product but no factory can build from it.
1 I Wish I knew sooner
Mark Ajzenstadt (@mardehaym) maps seven steps from buying AI tools to running on AI agents. Most companies, he says, “sit on step one, shopping for step seven technology.” Step one means humans run every tool, so “developer closes the lid, automations die.” Step four, going headless, fixes that: every automation lives off the laptop and fires on a schedule or a trigger.
This week, move your most important desk-bound automation to a scheduled cloud run, like a scheduled ChatGPT or Claude task or a Zapier workflow, then put a 90-day “still used?” check on your calendar.
The catch: a cloud run holds your API keys around the clock, and as he puts it, “dead agents are tech debt with active API keys.”
Your laptop has earned a full night’s sleep.
