I WISH I KNEW SOONER
👋 Good morning.
Yesterday 43% of you said barely any of an AI explanation sticks a week later.
Chrome can now pull your flight booking code or order number out of Gmail while you’re still staring at the form, per Google. It’s US-only for now, and it means Gemini reads your inbox. The search bar in Gmail gets the day off.
IN 3 MINUTES, GET 1% BETTER THAN EVERYONE YOU KNOW:
Let Claude take the first pass on contracts.
Skip the Gmail hunt for your booking code.
Record a meeting, then ask it questions.
Check for spyware, then build IKEA in 3D.
Get your details off people-search sites.

On Oct 28, Anthropic added a gallery of ready-to-use artifacts to Claude for Legal. They’re interactive trackers and dashboards, and each opens with a worked example before you add your own documents. Anthropic built six, including a contract table that links every answer to the exact clause and a scan that ranks upcoming regulations by impact. Harvey, PwC, Goodwin and Foley & Lardner built more. Anthropic’s post is tagged for Claude Enterprise and names no other plans.
Do this: if you have no in-house counsel, run the regulatory horizon scan on what you sell and where, then bring its timeline to your lawyer instead of paying for the first read.
Your lawyer still bills for judgment, just not for the highlighter.
Who reads your contracts before you sign?
Chrome’s enhanced autofill now pulls order numbers, tracking numbers and flight bookings from Gmail into the form you’re filling, per Google’s Chrome blog. It runs on Gemini with Personal Intelligence, the opt-in setting that lets Gemini use your Google apps. It’s rolling out in the US on desktop, Android and iOS. Google says sensitive data is encrypted, though Android Authority notes an updated Google policy lets Personal Intelligence data personalize ads.

Do this: next time a form asks for a booking code, click the field and look for “Suggested by Gemini” before opening Gmail, or switch enhanced autofill off in Chrome settings.
Confirmation emails just stopped being homework.
Gemini Notebook’s Android and iOS apps now have a built-in recorder, per 9to5Google. Tap the new mic to capture up to an hour of a meeting, lecture or brain dump, even with your screen locked. Start from the home screen for a new notebook, or from a notebook’s Sources tab to file it beside your docs. Either way, you can chat with it and cite it. The Gemini Notebook team suggests adding photos of your handwritten notes too.
Do this: at your next meeting, ask everyone if you can record, tap the mic, and afterwards ask “What did we decide, and who owns what?”
It’s the one meeting attendee who remembers the action items.
2 Worth trying
1. 🛡️ Zero Breach Toolkit · free, open source · Windows, Mac, Linux, phones
It checks computers, Android phones and iPhone backups for traces of known spyware like Pegasus, read-only and offline, and never calls a clean result proof. Think you’re targeted? Its README sends you to Access Now’s free helpline first. The catch: it’s a Python text menu from an anonymous maintainer.
2. 🪑 Bygga · free, no account · web
Type the name from an IKEA box, like KALLAX, into Bygga and each step plays in 3D, read out loud, across 1,176 products. The catch: it’s unofficial and its steps are generated from IKEA’s listings, so keep the paper manual close. The voice and chat extras need your own Together AI key.
1 I Wish I knew sooner
People-search sites show your address and phone number to anyone, each with its own opt-out, and listings come back. Any AI with web search can find every one if you paste this:
“Search the main people-search sites for [your name, city]. List every site that shows my address or phone number, with its opt-out link and the steps.”
In the US, register your cell free at donotcall.gov too. Or let ALX’s Grok Bots, Privacy Scrubber and Call List Remover, file the opt-outs and recheck them over time.
The catch: both bots come from a third-party user, not the company behind Grok Bot, and may act on your behalf, so read what each asks for first.
Your address should be harder to find than your favorite pizza place.
